Burpham Neighbourhood Plan

image044Proposal for a neighbourhood plan for Burpham

The Council designated the Burpham Neighbourhood Area (Burpham ward) and Burpham Neighbourhood Forum on 4 February 2013. The Burpham Neighbourhood Forum has worked with the wider Burpham community and other stakeholders to produce the Burpham Neighbourhood Plan.

A neighbourhood plan is a document containing planning policies for a single neighbourhood area. Adopted neighbourhood plans become part of the Development Plan for the borough and are used to determine planning applications within the neighbourhood area they cover, along with the Council's Local Plan and other considerations.

The neighbourhood plan and other submission documents can be found below under 'Consultation Documents'.

The comments received during the consultation can be found below under 'Summary of Results'. The comments were provided to an independent examiner who examined the plan in July and August 2015. To find out more about the examination, please visit the Council's neighbourhood planning in Burpham web page.
